About Morgan

Morgan Thompson was an outstanding member of Fairhope High School’s Class of 2010, graduating as Valedictorian and embodying every quality of an IB learner: intuitive, self-motivated and devoted to new challenges both personally and academically.  Morgan was one of 50 students accepted each year into Louisiana State University’s School of Architecture, where she received a full academic scholarship. She was tragically killed in an automobile accident while at Baton Rouge attending freshman orientation.  Her family established the Morgan Thompson Foundation in memory of her devotion to the IB Programme, and to ensure its continued quality for current and future students.
